Encourage Wellbeing is a brand new appraoch to achieving health and wellbeing. At our weekly groups we help you to change your relationship with food for good, resulting in a happier, healthier you, forever. Through the support of your Encourager and others in the group, you will discover how changes to your mindset, alongside making the right food and lifestyle choices, will help you change for good. No more yo yo dieting. The Encourage Approach ensures you change at your own pace, in the way that suits you and your life. We recognise that everyone is different and we treat you as an individual.
Welcome to Encourage. I am super excited to introduce you to Encourage Wellbeing.
As someone who has spent their entire life on and off diets, I know how hard it can be to lose weight and make healthy lifestyle choices day in and day out.
My first experience of a weight-loss group was when I was 11 years old. I went along to the group with my mum and sister and I weighed in at 11 stone. I had been overweight throughout my childhood and, despite reaching my target weight at that first group, I continued to yo-yo diet throughout my entire life. At 50, I decided enough is enough.
After not reaching my goal of being slim for my 50th birthday, and almost a year later being heavier than I was at the big 50 party, I realised I needed to do something different.

An easy path to weight loss and improved wellbeing!
The Encourage approach focuses on all aspects of day to day living that impact weight and wellbeing. Unlike the vast majority of diets that I (and you I expect) have tried in the past, Encourage looks at the whole picture, not just food and exercise. As a member you will learn about the 6 focus areas and how they impact your food, drink, and activity choices, and you will learn strategies and techniques to ensure you make the right choices, every day, to achieve overall wellbeing.
Encourage’s mantra is ‘follow the road to green’. It’s simple and effective, and by doing it you will be following the path to a healthier, happier you. Not just for now, today, or this month, but forever. Be warned, Encourage is not a quick-fix approach. It is an approach that will help you change for good, to be the person you want to be, forever.
There is no magic solution to weight loss; the magic is you.
